OB-GYN Services
Gynecology
From well woman care to family planning to surgical options to menopause, our goal is to keep you healthy through all ages and stages of life.
Gynecology is defined in the dictionary as “the branch of medical science that deals with the health maintenance and diseases of women in general, and the reproductive organs in particular.” Although Obstetrics is defined as the branch of medical science concerned with childbirth and caring for and treating women in or in connection with childbirth, because it is dealing with the “health maintenance of women and their reproductive organ” it is included as a sub branch of Gynecology. That is why you hear us mentioned together as “OB-GYN.”
All of the Providers in our practice are Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
If you have questions regarding endometriosis, click here and for current pap smear recommendations, click here. The revised recommendations do not at all mean the end of the annual visit. The well-woman visit has always been more than just a “Pap smear,” and the decreased need for cervical cancer screening actually constitutes a minor change to an important aspect of a woman’s health care.
Obstetrics
Obstetrical care requires the ability to care for two patients (the mother and the infant while growing inside the mother’s uterus.) Good, high-quality, but personal and individualized Obstetrical care therefore is imperative. The physician must have the education, training, expertise, and tools to assess the well being of both the mother and the growing fetus at all times.
Our Providers are all Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This means that they have completed all of the extra education and training required by the ABOG. In addition, they have passed both the written and oral tests required by the ABOG to be designated as certified. They have, therefore, proven to their mentors their successful training and their expertise.
In addition, both Dr’s Bosch and Mason are Associate Professors at the University of California San Francisco – Fresno Obstetrical Training Program.
Our office has the tools to aid in the successful outcome of your pregnancy. We have the newest of the “in office” required laboratory testing equipment. We also have the ability to do your ultrasounds “in office”. Again, we are using “state of the art” ultrasound equipment for diagnostic purposes, but the advantage to you is that you can see the baby on our screens while we are doing the tests. Most of the time, if you want to know the baby’s sex, we can show you why, and tell you what we think the sex is.
We provide obstetrical care for both High and Low risk patients. Our Providers and Nurse Practitioner encompass your entire pre and post natal care. You can be assured that you and your infant are being taken care of by individuals that will take the utmost care that your pregnancy experience is an enjoyable, and remembered for a lifetime.
Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 noon and 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM. The office is closed most Saturdays. It is also closed on Sundays and Holidays.
Please try to call during office hours. If it is urgent, however, call the office phone number any time of day or night.
IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, PLEASE CALL 911 OR GO DIRECTLY TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT Clovis Community Hospital or Fresno Community Hospital.
